Terms of The Career Momentum Hour

1. Other applicable terms

In accepting these terms, you are also accepting our Terms of Website Use and our Privacy Policy. These apply to all users of our site and include information regarding how we handle your data and how we communicate with you. They also sets out our compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”).

www.onupbeyond.com is a site operated by MOVEMEON LIMITED (“We”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 08471026 and have our registered office at GS.G20, Clerkenwell Workshops – 27-31 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1R 0AT. 3. How The Career Momentum Hour works and how to protect your anonymity 

  • The Career Momentum Hour gives you access to join live video sessions along with all other purchasers of The Career Momentum Hour. 
  • The sessions are recorded and these recordings can be accessed by you and by all other purchasers of The Career Momentum Hour. We also reserve the right to use the video content to create publicly accessible materials (e.g, to share on social media).
  • If you wish to protect your anonymity, you are able to do the following and you take full responsibility for these actions:
    • Use an alias instead of your actual name. Go to "Settings" within your login and update your "Full Name" to read "Anonymous Member" or another alias of your choosing.
    • Turn off your video camera on joining video calls - you will be given this option prior to joining.
    • Check that your displayed name on joining video calls is an alias that you are happy to display. If not, please update your display name by editing your settings within the video call.

 

4. No reliance on information

The content on our site and as provided through The Career Momentum Hour is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on our site.

Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our site is accurate, complete or up-to-date.

6. Refunds

If The Career Momentum Hour does not meet your expectations for whatever reason, you must let us know within 7 days of the first session that you were able to join live or watch the recording of. Please inform us by email to [email protected] and we will process a full refund within 20 working days and remove your access.

 

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page.

Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made, as they are binding on you.

Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only.

We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

 

8. Applicable law

If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland. If you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. GDPR compliance of customers and suppliers

We require all suppliers to confirm that they are compliant with GDPR. The specific clause in the terms is as follows:

The Supplier shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with all applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (and any amendments to it) and other similar national privacy laws as regards any data (including candidate data) shared by the Supplier, either through the www.onupbeyond.com website(s) or emails.

We do not accept liability for breaches of GDPR made by suppliers or any other users.
