OnUpBeyond – Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Movemeon Limited, trading as OnUpBeyond, collects, uses, and shares personal data in connection with www.onupbeyond.com and our Products. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use, which defines several of the terms used here, including Site, Products, Member, Visitor, and Sponsor.
Movemeon Limited also operates www.movemeon.com, a separate recruitment platform. This Policy does not apply to that site, which has its own separate privacy policy.
1. Who We Are
OnUpBeyond is a trading name of Movemeon Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08471026, with registered office at GS.G20, Clerkenwell Workshops, 27–31 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1R 0AT.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy, except where we say otherwise – for example, where a third party acts as an independent controller (see Sections 6 and 7).
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
To contact us about this Policy or to exercise your rights, email info@onupbeyond.com, referencing "Privacy" in the subject line.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- account information (name, email address, password);
- information you provide when purchasing a Product, booking a session, or completing a form;
- information you provide as part of psychometric profiling or preparatory coaching exercises;
- content you post in our community feed, or share with us as feedback or a testimonial; and
- your communications with us, including emails and support requests.
We also collect information automatically, including:
- technical information (IP address, browser type, device information);
- usage information (pages visited, content accessed, time spent on the Site); and
- cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 11).
3. Information From Other Sources
We may also obtain information about you from other sources. This includes using data enrichment providers (such as Apollo.io or Clay) to add publicly available professional information, such as your job title or employer, to contact details we already hold, and may also include publicly available information you've made available yourself, such as on your LinkedIn profile. We use this to help us reach out about Products that may be relevant to you and to support activities like coach-matching, and we handle it in line with this Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- provide our Products to you, including masterclasses, coaching, live advisory sessions, our AI career coach, and psychometric profiling;
- manage your account, process payments, and send you transactional communications (such as booking confirmations or receipts);
- communicate with you about your account, Products, and any updates to our policies;
- personalise and improve our Products;
- moderate and maintain our community feed;
- where you've agreed to it, send you marketing about our Products; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
Where we rely on your consent (for example, for marketing or non-essential cookies), you can withdraw that consent at any time – for marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link in the email itself, or by contacting us. In other cases, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, or on the need to perform our contract with you.
5. Movemeon and OnUpBeyond
Movemeon Limited operates both OnUpBeyond and www.movemeon.com. We may use information collected through OnUpBeyond to let you know about movemeon.com's recruitment services, and information collected through movemeon.com to let you know about OnUpBeyond, where we think this may be relevant to you.
6. Coaches
If you're matched with a 1:1 coach, we share the information needed to set up that relationship – such as your name and contact details, and other relevant background you've given us, for example your career goals or your answers to any coach-matching questionnaire. We do not share your psychometric profiling results with your coach unless you choose to share them directly yourself. We encourage participants to share their profiling results with their coach, but this is your choice.
Our coaches are independent professionals, not our employees. Once you're in contact with your coach, they act as an independent controller for any personal data you choose to share with them directly, and their own privacy practices apply to that information, not this Policy.
7. Psychometric Profiling
Our psychometric profiling is delivered by Thomas International Limited ("Thomas"). When you take a Thomas assessment through us, Thomas acts as an independent data controller for the information you provide as part of that assessment, alongside us – not as a processor acting on our instructions. Thomas's own privacy notice, available at thomas.co, governs how they use your assessment data, in addition to this Policy.
Thomas's standard practice is to retain personal data relating to an assessment for around 12 months following the end of the relevant service, though this may change – see Thomas's privacy notice for their current position.
8. AI Career Coach
Our AI career coach is delivered using automated, third-party AI technology – currently provided via Coachvox, using underlying AI models from OpenAI. We may change the provider or underlying technology we use at any time.
For your account information (such as your name and email address), Coachvox acts as our processor. For the content of your conversations with the AI career coach and related metadata, Coachvox and we act as joint controllers – we each independently decide why and how that data is used, including for service delivery, quality assurance, and improving Coachvox's own technology and infrastructure. Coachvox's own terms state that your conversations are not blended into other customers' AI models or used to train any wider public AI model, though they may use this data more generally to develop and improve their own product.
9. Automated Decision-Making and Special Category Data
We do not use fully automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you without human involvement. Our AI career coach and psychometric profiling are intended to support your own reflection and decision-making, not to make decisions about you – consistent with Thomas's own position that their assessments should never be used in isolation to inform a decision.
We do not intend to collect special category data (such as health, biometric, or similar sensitive information) about you as part of our Products, including through psychometric profiling.
10. Sponsor-Provided Access
If your access to our Products is arranged or funded by a Sponsor (such as a current or former employer), we may share the following information with your Sponsor:
- your participation and engagement with our Products (for example, sessions attended or content accessed);
- feedback or satisfaction ratings you provide about our Products; and
- aggregate or summary results across the participants your Sponsor has sponsored (for example, overall completion rates or outcome trends).
We will not share the content of any individual coaching session or AI career coach conversation, or your individual psychometric profiling results, with your Sponsor.
11. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site. These fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary – required for the Site to function (for example, keeping you logged in). These don't require consent.
- Functional – remember your preferences and improve your experience.
- Analytics and performance – help us understand how the Site is used, including through Google Analytics.
- Advertising and targeting – used to deliver relevant advertising and measure its effectiveness, including through platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn. We may use these to show you relevant adverts on other sites and platforms (known as retargeting).
Where cookies aren't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your consent before they're set. You can manage or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising directly through the relevant platform's own settings (for example, Google's Ads Settings or LinkedIn's advertising preferences).
12. Third-Party Processors We Use
We use the following third parties to help us provide our Products and operate our business, under their own standard terms of service. Except where stated otherwise in this Policy (see Sections 6, 7, and 8), these providers act as processors and may only use your information to provide their services to us:
- Kajabi – website hosting, content delivery, live sessions, and payments
- Canva – design
- Lovable – product tools
- Google Drive – file storage
- Notion – internal documentation
- Tella – masterclass recording
- HubSpot – marketing and CRM
- Google Analytics – website analytics
- Anthropic (Claude) – AI-assisted internal tools
Where a provider offers a data processing agreement as part of their standard terms, that agreement applies to how they handle your information.
13. Where We Store Your Data
The Site and our Products are hosted using Kajabi, which stores data primarily in the United States. Where our providers store or process data outside the UK or EEA, they're responsible for ensuring an adequate transfer mechanism is in place (such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses), in line with their own compliance obligations.
14. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. As a general guide:
- account and Product usage data is kept for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes; and
- where a Product is delivered by a third party (see Sections 6, 7, and 8), that third party's own retention policy applies to the data they hold – for example, Thomas's standard retention period is around 12 months following the end of the relevant service.
15. Testimonials and Feedback
If you provide feedback, a review, or a testimonial, we may use it in our marketing, as described in our Terms of Use, unless you ask us not to.
16. Other Sharing of Your Information
We may also share your information:
- with other companies in the Movemeon Limited corporate group, if any;
- with our regulators, or to comply with a legal obligation;
- if we're under a duty to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others, including to prevent fraud; and
- if we sell, transfer, or reorganise our business (see Section 19).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
17. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of your data in certain circumstances;
- ask us to transfer your data to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@onupbeyond.com. Where a third party (such as Thomas, or your coach) is an independent controller for certain data, you may need to contact them directly – see Sections 6 and 7.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we haven't handled your data properly.
If you're based in the United States, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's laws (for example, California's privacy laws). You can exercise any such rights by contacting us at info@onupbeyond.com.
18. Children's Privacy
Our Products are intended for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
19. Change of Control
If we sell, merge, or transfer all or part of our business, your personal data may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. We'll take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected, and if the new owner intends to use your data in a materially different way from what's described in this Policy, we'll notify you before that happens. This is consistent with the Assignment and Change of Control section of our Terms of Use, which covers how our rights and obligations under both documents may be transferred as part of such a transaction.
20. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including providing data protection training to our team, requiring staff to keep personal data confidential, and restricting access to personal data to those who need it. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
21. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page and updating the effective date above. Please check this page from time to time to stay up to date with any changes – your continued use of the Site or our Products after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
