Why I started OnUpBeyond
I joined McKinsey in 2007. A few years in, I started asking the question every consultant eventually asks: what next? I couldn't find support that was grounded in real experience and specific to people with my background, so I set about building it.
First came Movemeon: over 15 years, I've built a platform that's helped 5,000+ organisations hire from a network of 70,000+ (ex)consultants worldwide. Along the way, one Movemeon member told me something that stuck: with that much data and that many conversations, I'd quietly built one of the best networks and resources anywhere for people developing careers in and beyond consulting.
OnUpBeyond is what came next: turning that experience, and the knowledge of the coaches and leaders in our network (as well as my own), into advice and coaching that's actually available to the people who need it.
